Kenyon Hall Presents: Telethon Fundraiser – Keep the Wurlitzer Mighty

September 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm PDT

REPS is proud to be a part of an upcoming fundraising event at historic Kenyon Hall in West Seattle!

Our REPS players will be performing an episode of Fibber McGee and Molly called “Teeny’s Cat” starring Larry Albert as Fibber McGee and Jeanine Ollivier as Molly McGee.

Featuring the talents of Larry Albert, Ryan Asbert, Rob Bowker, Randy Clawson, Lindsey Dabek, Alice Lane Watson and David Selvig

Directed by David Selvig

LIVE Sound effects by Bruce Johnson

This show will feature LIVE music on the mighty Wurlitzer Organ played by Sawyer Best, accompanied on several tunes with vocals by Lindsey Dabek.

We are excited that REPS can participate in this fundraiser to support a part of music history that directly relates to Old Time Radio, as well!

***REPS will be featured in the earlier show ONLY, which runs from 4 PM – 6 PM.  Please note there are two seperate shows that evening and we are not in the later program.  Lots of talent in both shows but come at 4 PM for the REPS show!***

REMINDER – this is not a REPS production and no Zoom link is provided for this particular show.  Check out the Kenyon Hall info below for their YouTube or Twitch feed to watch!

Kenyon Hall’s Wurlitzer stands as a wonderful achievement of the pre-digital age but is in need of repairs to ensure it will survive. While many of these organs are “going digital” Kenyon Hall’s Wurlitzer organ remains completely analog, which means there are thousands of wires that need to be kept in good working order, and over 1,000 pipes set amongst a three-room + series of switchboards and relays that need to be kept clean, clear, and climate controlled.

Both show times will include 3 separate performances featuring our Mighty Wurlitzer Organ as well as some very talented acts from around the Seattle area including:
Sawyer Best & The Mighty Wurlitzer
Radio Enthusiasts of Puget Sound
Erik Walters (Pedro the Lion)
Jonah Welch & Jason Khan (Kenyon Hall Music)
Tomo Nakayama

All ticket prices will go towards our Fall Fundraiser to keep our Mighty Wurlitzer alive! This instrument has stood for 95 years, and we are celebrating its 25th year anniversary of gracing our Hall with its majesty and wonder!
