I thought I would try an experiment with a series I have been working on: The Steve Lawrence Show. In the late '50s, Steve Lawrence, half of the husband-and-wife team of Steve Lawerence and Eydie Gorme was drafted into the Army. The Army decided they could best use Steve for recruiting purposes. Among his recruiting activities was a 15-minute weekly radio show. It was a simple format. Steve would sing a couple of songs, interview a guest connected to the music industry. There would be a couple of plugs for the Army, of course. To this point I have located 34 transcribed episodes of the series. These are flac files. The first one I have is #15 in the series with Guest Will Jordan. If there is any interest, I will post additional episodes later.
